Cloud 95 reimagined

Cloud 95 reimagined! Thank you so much!

“I love your project! I often look at clouds and objects in nature and imagine creatures lurking in there. I am a scientist and I draw as a hobby.”

If you can please identify yourself, I would be grateful! Tumblr didn’t save your message and your email was lost. Please email me at rorsketch@gmail.com. —Catherine

Rorsketch at TEDxNewHaven

The movie that helped trigger this project. Up! by Pixar. Photo by Ruoxi Yu

Last April 28th, I gave some talks at TEDxNewHaven, with the theme, The Art and Science of Happiness. My friends and I assembled 200 sense kits for the audience, with all my sense projects in physical, non-digital formats.

The second talk had to do with Rorsketch. Each audience member had a postcard with a cloud on it, as well as a Sharpie to draw with.

To encourage them to draw, I, too, made a live drawing on stage.

Rorsketch at MoMA PS1

In envisioning how I can extend Rorsketch, I designed a public interface for MoMA PS1. Some renderings below, but a full post in my writing blog may be found here.

Oh, and P.S., thank you for all the support!
